Incredible food and service. The portions are small but you leave full. Every dish is well thought out and the menu and cocktails are creative and unique. One of the best meals we’ve ever had with 5-star service. The price is extremely fair and similar caliber meals would be at least 3x more anywhere else. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a fine dining experience like no other.

We had a wonderful experience at Galaxia Rooftop Bar. The atmosphere was fantastic, with truly breathtaking views over Madeira. The staff were friendly, attentive and made us feel very welcome. We can’t wait to return on our next trip to Madeira
We only had drinks here. The staff was very friendly. Great view over Funchal and the ocean. Many different drinks to choose from.
Had a nice evening here to wrap up our final night. The service was very professional and accommodating. The food came out in a timely manner. For the price, personally would have liked the portion sizes just a little bigger. 3 pieces of venison instead of 2. Cocktails are okay, I have had better in similar environments. Still worth a visit and it was a cool experience, but it’s a 4/5 for me.
Absolutely exceptional — so good I went back twice during my stay. Galaxia delivers one of the most memorable dining experiences in Madeira. Every dish was beautifully composed, bursting with flavour, and presented with genuine artistry. The service team is flawless: warm, attentive, and intuitive without ever being intrusive. The ambience is magical — refined yet vibrant, with a view and atmosphere that elevate the entire evening. I was so impressed after my first visit that I returned again, and the second experience was just as spectacular. Consistency at this level is rare. Thank you to the entire Galaxia team for creating something truly special. Already looking forward to my next visit.
An outstanding masterpiece in cuisine. We found the whole experience fabulous. All of the staff were so pleasant and professional and made our dining experience so rewarding and worthwhile. We had the course tasting menu with wine paring and did not regret the choice. Everything course was extraordinary, and the wines were fabulous. Certainly one of the best culinary experiences we have ever enjoyed.

Beautiful sky bar! It is a bit pretentious, but everyone was very friendly. There’s a separate entrance if you’re not a hotel guest, if you can’t find it, they’re happy to point you in the right direction in the main lobby. You do have to pay for entrance fee, but then you get that money taken off your bill. The bar area is separate than the dining area. We were brought nice snacks with our drink order. There’s also a large outdoor terrace with infinity pool. The views overlooking the city are beautiful.
Excellent service, excellent food. We had a dinner at the Galaxia restaurant, despite the restaurant is facing the mountains and not the sea the view is still nice. The dishes were well prepared and very tasty. The service provided by the staff was nothing less than excellent! A real Savoy Signature experience! I recommend you to make a reservation.
The food here is sensational. The best tasting menu we had in a week of dining in Funchal’s best restaurants. So good we came back on the last night of our holiday - not sure why this restaurant has been overlooked by the Michelin inspectors. Cocktails and service also incredible! Stunning floor to ceiling views of Funchal and the ocean everywhere you look. Highly recommended - worth every penny

If you're not a hotel gusts there's a €15 entry charge per person but this can be used upstairs in the bar, so it's essentially free entry. Excellent place. We went for drinks and were positively surprised. The tabke service was great. I don't believe they had anything on tap but the selection of drinks was vast. Would go back and recommend reserving if it's any way busy. The DJ is very good also and doesn't deafen you.

Stop by for a couple of drinks at this Skytop bar. Love the control on the access, there is a cover charge that is applied to your drink order. Makes for a very nice experience. On the top of the Savoy Hotel, one of the best views you will find in Funchal. Pricey but worth it...oh the cocktails were very good.
